The Search Begins (This Copy For Sale)

This painting is about the never ending search for a part of the world that is our own. We grasp at things we believe we want and we leave ourselves vulnerable when we are at our strongest. One of the most commonly searched for things in this world may perhaps be love. However cliche "the search for love" may be, it still is a valuable and relevant search throughout all of our lives, whether it's a love for someone or for a passion of ours. For all of us, when we realize we want something, the search begins.

"I'm Sorry"

Sometimes we make mistakes and get a little crazy. We take what we have for granted and assume that the people we care about can take the abuse because they should. Whether they can take the abuse or not, if you can hold your temper and use your kinder gentler side to say what you mean, you should avoid being crazy-especially to the people you love. This was my way of saying sorry to someone I cared about a lot and often took for granted. Thank goodness for living in an imperfect world where sometimes being truly sorry is valued.
